School Opening Times

Manor Junior School opens its gates to pupils at 08:30 and lessons start at 08:45.

The school day ends at 15:15, however clubs are offered every afternoon.

The school week lasts from Monday to Friday and lasts at least 32.5 hours.

It is parental/carers responsibility to ensure that children are collected at the correct time. The school day ends at 15:15 and we keep the gates open until 15:25, all children must be collected at this time, unless they attend a club. 

The school offers after school clubs which can be booked in advance via Premier Education, alternatively you should use the wraparound care provided by Premier Education or other childcare providers / childminders within the locality many of whom are listed on the Barking and Dagenham website: https://www.lbbd.gov.uk/.

If a child is repeatedly left uncollected, they will be placed within the school's wraparound care and parents/carers will be charged accordingly. 

The school will meet with parents/carers who repeatedly leave their child uncollected. As a result of this meeting, a referral may be made to Early Help to support them in carrying out their parental/carer responsibility
